CHANTILLY, VA; November 6, 2023 – Amentum has been awarded a five-year contract with a maximum value of $441.3 million by USINDOPACOM to deliver critical command, control, communication, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Amentum will provide complex analysis, experimentation, and testing, to optimize the effectiveness of DoD missions and advance USINDOPACOM priorities. USINDOPACOM is managing the program out of Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Under this contract, Amentum will advance organizational agility with innovative solutions in an extremely collaborative and dynamic national security environment. Amentum will provide technological innovation to USINDOPACOM through its understanding of existing and emerging capabilities in the fields of Command and Control (C2), communications, electronic warfare, and operational energy. Amentum will also play an important role in defensive cyber analysis, national and adversary vulnerability assessments, strategic adversary resistance. and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), including Special Operations Forces (SOF) and other technical areas for the greater Joint Force associated with ground, surface, space, cyber, maritime, and air-based domains and capabilities.

CHANTILLY, VA; October 16, 2023 – Amentum has been awarded a five-year contract with a maximum value of $326.9 million by the U.S. Army to continue its important work on command, control, communication, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Amentum will engineer, integrate and test advanced prototype technologies and systems. The Army is managing the program out of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.

“As a premier engineering partner for the U.S. Army, we can enable new technology capabilities to protect our national security.” said Jill Bruning, President of Amentum’s Engineering, Science, and Technology Group.

Under this contract, Amentum will provide technology and engineering solutions for prototyping projects executed by The Prototyping, Integration and Testing Division (PI&TD). These engineering modernization and integration projects directly support emerging technical needs of the warfighter. PI&TD provides support to several military program management offices including DEVCOM, Warfighter Information Network Tactical (WIN-T), Mission Command, Radars, DCGS-A, Special Operations Command, and Marine Corp (USMC).

Additionally, Amentum will design, develop, and fabricate C5ISR systems, sub-systems, components, installation kits, and systems-of-systems for integration into ground-based, vehicular, shelter, airborne, watercraft, soldier, and dismounted platforms, both tactical and non-tactical, and into fixed and re-locatable sites.

CHANTILLY, VA; July 11, 2023 – The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), our nation, and our allies are facing the reality of near-peer competition challenging rules-based international order in the Pacific. This places enormous demands on USINDOPACOM to defend our homeland, deter aggression, and ensure the security and stability in the region. To advance our nation’s Asia-Pacific region peacekeeping mission, Amentum has opened an office in Honolulu on the Island of Oahu.

Amentum has over 500 employees across the Hawaiian Islands facilitating this national mission through direct support to USINDOPACOM and its component commands with numerous contracts. Localized programs include the USINDOPACOM Innovation and Experimentation Support Services Program (IPIESS), a technological and sustainment contract of the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) in partnership with a Native Hawaiian-Owned firm, and a myriad of other activities such as intelligence analysis and aircraft maintenance.

Our new office in Aiea at 98-211 Pali Momi Street centralizes elements of our corporate leadership next door to our Hawaii-based customers and staff and will promote more local functional support. The office location also grants Amentum better efficiencies toward up-scaling presence and readiness in the Asia-Pacific region based on changing security dynamics.

CHANTILLY, Va.; May 24, 2023 – Amentum earned a highly-competed spot on the $250 million U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to modernize test and training infrastructure instrumentation systems. Under task and delivery orders, Amentum will deliver advanced engineering and technical solutions for long-term sustainment of weapons testing systems, along with naval studies, analysis, and site surveys.

“As the largest weapons testing solutions provider in the world, our breadth and depth of experience developing and modernizing hardware and software for tactical training systems and subsystems is second to none,” said Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, President of Amentum’s Critical Missions Group. “Amentum will provide the Navy best-in-class integrated and interoperable warfighting capabilities through cutting-edge research, development, test, evaluation, and sustainment.”

Amentum specializes in technologies like threat radars, simulator systems, and training infrastructure operations and sustainment by delivering system software development, modification, and sustainment on a wide variety of electronic warfare and instrumentation systems.

Under this contract, Amentum provides test and training solutions to include airborne and ground-based elements, interfaces, and support to auxiliary equipment. These supported systems include remote ground stations, data collection systems, data processing and display systems, host range interface equipment, testing and troubleshooting hardware. Amentum will also support validation of articles under test through various hardware and instrumentation systems. Additionally, Amentum will provide full-spectrum solutions to include long-term sustainment of both existing test and training range systems, and new cutting-edge instrumentation systems as they are designed, developed, fielded, and integrated. Finally, the company will provide onsite and in-plant engineering and technical solutions, along with studies, analyses, and site surveys for the Navy customer.

CHANTILLY, VA; May 22, 2023 – Amentum has been awarded a five-year contract with a maximum value of $70 million to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane (NSWC Crane) Strategic Systems Hardware Division (GXW) to modify existing and develop new Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for handling and transporting Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs), flight vehicles, Common Support Equipment (CSE), and launch platforms. Amentum was awarded this contract through the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoDIAC) multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle to develop and create new knowledge for the enhancement of the DTIC repository and the R&D and S&T community.

“We are extremely pleased to continue to provide cutting-edge solutions leveraging our expertise in technology and engineering modernization to serve as an industry partner for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, enabling new capabilities to protect our national security,” said Jill Bruning, President of Amentum’s Engineering, Science, and Technology Group.

Under this contract, Amentum will perform R&D, analysis, testing, technology transfer, and systems engineering to assess and enhance strategic missions focused on hypersonics, undersea sensors, advanced materials, and strategic missions areas. This includes hardware for launch, boost, flight, guidance, undersea detection, and reentry systems, as well as systems and components that communicate or input data into those systems. Amentum will identify critical enabling technologies; assess a technology’s suitability for specific applications and develop new approaches and opportunities for technology transfer and integration to keep pace with continually emerging and evolving threats. This will drive continued technological superiority by incorporating quick-reaction analysis and rapid engineering development principles into related DoD hypersonics and strategic missions’ initiatives.

To support these mission challenges, Amentum announces the creation of a U.S. Army Senior Advisory Committee to focus on innovation of Army testing, training, and information operations programs in support of our national defense contracts. The Amentum U.S. Army Senior Advisory Committee (ASAC) will play a pivotable role in the development and understanding of military centric policy and doctrine within the framework of best practices supporting the overall Conduct of Operations and its execution.

GERMANTOWN, Md.; August 31, 2022 – The U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command has awarded Amentum subsidiary PAE Aviation and Technical Services LLC a $136 million contract for Aerial Targets O&M to support the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group’s weapons systems testing and airborne tactics development. The aerial targets squadron has a unique mission providing aerial targets for lethality testing of major weapons systems and munition programs.

“Our proven performance on advanced systems has made us the best partner to aid the Air Force in the latest, fourth-generation Full-Scale Aerial Target designed to test and evaluate U.S. weapons systems and assist in developing tactics, techniques and procedures to counter fighter-size airborne threats,” said Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, President of Amentum’s Critical Missions Group. “We are looking forward to providing critical support to assist in countering threats to our nation’s security.”

Under this contract, the Company will prepare, service, launch, recover, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair QF-16 Full-Scale Aerial Targets, Sub-Scale Aerial Targets, and associated support equipment at the Organizational and Intermediate Level and perform services for range instrumentation systems in support of the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group. The QF-16 features a modified F-16 airframe integrating a universal remote auto pilot, auto-throttle, and peculiar support equipment with improved fault-isolation capabilities. It also features a visual augmentation system, flight termination system, command telemetry system, vector scoring system, and payload control system. The QF-16 will also support the evaluation of fielded air-to-air missile capabilities, while offering live missile training for combat air crews.

The Company’s efforts include maintenance of on-board state-of-the-art scoring systems for the targets, continuance of sophisticated Range Instrumentation Systems to include drone control, range control and associated instrumentation and advanced communications systems.

Work will be performed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, and Holloman AFB, New Mexico, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2029. The firm-fixed-price contract has a one-year base period and six one-year option periods.

GERMANTOWN, Md.; June 7, 2022 – Koa Lani, an Amentum joint venture with Kūpono, a mentor-protégé 8(a) company, has earned a position on Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Remotely Piloted Aircraft Squadron Operations Center Enterprise (RPASOC-E) support Multiple Award Contract.

The joint venture, Koa Lani which is Hawaiian for “Sky Warrior,” will now compete for RPASOC-E task orders until May 2030. The indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum ceiling of $785 million.

“This award reflects Amentum’s leadership position as a premiere provider of RPA support services that enhance our national security and enable our customers to achieve their critical missions,” said Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, President of Amentum’s Mission Readiness strategic business unit. “Additionally, it demonstrates Amentum’s steadfast commitment to the Small Business Administration’s mentor-protégé program. Our promise to our Department of Defense clients and to our small business partners centers on a single principle central to our core values: deliver mission success.”

The RPASOC sustains world-wide mission systems, conducts operations and maintenance of equipment designs and development systems in support of combat air patrols managed by ACC, Air Force Special Operations Command, the Air National Guard, and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Warner Robbins.

GERMANTOWN, Md.; January 11, 2022 – The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport has selected Amentum, a leading contractor to U.S. federal and allied governments, to provide range operations and maintenance support services under a new contract worth up to $462 million.

The 10-year contract will support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC), the Navy’s large-area, deep-water, undersea test and evaluation range. AUTEC’s activities include underwater research, testing and evaluation of anti-submarine weapons, and sonar tracking and communications.

“Amentum is pleased to have been awarded this contract in support of AUTEC, and we look forward to working with the Navy, our partners and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the test and training mission at this unique range,” said John Vollmer, Chief Executive Officer of Amentum.

In addition to range support services, Amentum will provide AUTEC with program management and business operations services; security; program documentation; safety and environmental support; public works and base services, logistics support; test scheduling, planning and execution; air and marine services; and data acquisition, processing and analysis.

Work will be performed on Andros Island, Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and West Palm Beach, Fla.
